Experience or ever visiting the ocean is not a prerequisite. Our planet is an ocean planet and this planet is everyone’s home.

OPL love is based on wonder, awe and consciousness.

Gratitude can manifest when a person realizes they have been given a gift, like seeing a whale breach out of the surface of the sea, or wild dolphins playing in the sunshine.  These blessings embody Gratitude.

Gratitude inspires me to reciprocate the relationship, to take responsibility, to educate others about the ocean, earth and the environment.

We are inspired to become responsible advocates on behalf of our oceans and the life residing there.  Shouldn’t we all share responsibility for the oceans and our water planet home, the earth?

Art is another way to share insight and appreciation of the beautiful world of water.  To teach and share is imperative, as we cannot love what we do not know.

Ocean Protection League’s Mission: 

To inspire, teach and share about the ocean and the ocean’s inhabitants so together we learn to protect the ocean, as we cannot love what we do not know.

League, because there are never enough of us trying to protect the ocean, earth and environment.

Together, let’s help protect the ocean.

How can we help protect the ocean together?

Educate and Enlighten-ourselves and others about our oceans and ecosystems there.  Use our Ocean Protection League resources as tools to learn more about the ocean.

Share-Remember OPL’s Mission, We cannot love what we do not know.  Please share OPL’s writing, blogging, events and social media posts, so the world will become more curious and start asking more questions about the ocean and ocean’s inhabitants.  (The ocean is important to everyone whether a person has ever seen the seas or not.)
